The 2028 class is making significant strides, with a new group of standout athletes emerging as some of the fastest-rising talents in the country since fall ball ended and the high school season began. These players have caught attention with impressive pitching performances and explosive offensive statistics, showcasing their growth, determination, and game-changing impact.   The rising stars below are proving to be the ones to watch as the 2028 class evolves.    Anna Janis is a skilled outfielder and utility player from Cathedral Catholic High School, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and planning to study Kinesiology. Janis displays speed, versatility, and strong leadership on her high school team and the Breakers Labs Vega 16U team. In the outfield, Janis uses her speed and athleticism to excel. At the plate, she confidently uses her power to succeed. She understands her role when she steps into the box and finds ways to get on base and score runners. Anna Janis is prepared to continue her successes this summer season.     Kennedy Walker is an outstanding third baseman, recognized for her quick reflexes, powerful batting, and leadership by example. She attends Norman North High School, where she is involved in leadership programs such as DEN and SPUD. Through these initiatives, she actively supports her school and community, while also growing as a confident and expressive leader. Her reliable glove at third base, combined with one of the fastest releases out there and a strong arm, makes for a lethal combination. She combines power and speed at the plate to excel against opposing defenses. A true competitor at heart, Walker thrives in high-pressure situations, consistently bringing power to the middle of the lineup. Kennedy Walker's leadership and determination are evident in everything she does on and off the field.     Addison Dalton is a right-handed pitcher and first baseman from Florence High School, as well as a member of the Colorado Batbusters 14U National team. She is rapidly becoming one of the top prospects in her class. In high school, Dalton struck out 182 batters in 96 innings and had a batting average over .700. She demonstrates exceptional spin and control, excelling at both pitching and hitting. Addison Dalton possesses top skills both in the circle and at the plate. Her leadership and dedication on the field and in the classroom prepare her for continued success this summer.     Siri Krabbe is a standout right-handed pitcher from Glen Ridge High School and plays for the Intensity 16U KOD team. She excels as a two-way player, showing success in the circle and at the plate. She had a strong high school season with a .606 batting average, five home runs, and 32 RBIs, highlighting her power at the plate. In the circle, she excelled with 122 strikeouts and a 1.58 ERA in 84 innings. Known for her relentless work ethic and passion for the game, Krabbe turns challenges that she faces into motivation and uses setbacks as opportunities for growth. Siri Krabbe is ready to showcase her elite skills as a two-way player this summer.     Courtney Bandy is a dominant right-handed pitcher for the Belton High School team and the Top Gun 14U National team. Standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall, she commands attention in the circle. Bandy uses a deceptive changeup that keeps hitters off balance. With a strong command of the strike zone and her natural talent, she is a true strikeout pitcher, utilizing her downward movement effectively. Bandy helped her high school team secure a runner-up finish in the Missouri Class 4 State Championship. Courtney Bandy's passion and leadership in the circle are evident, and she is prepared to showcase her elite skills this summer.     Abrianna Carlton is an impressive player from the class of 2028. She attends Grain Valley High School and currently holds a 4.15 GPA. Carlton possesses all the necessary skills to excel at the next level. Known for her exceptional footwork, strong arm, and high softball IQ, she effectively combines power and speed on the field. Her ability to hit gap-to-gap, along with her notable power, has attracted the attention of college coaches nationwide. As a middle infielder, she uses her leadership skills and softball IQ to excel at shortstop and second base. Carlton adheres to the motto, "I work while you sleep," starting most of her training before sunrise to continuously improve her skills. Her strong work ethic, appreciation for others, and commitment to growth set her apart on and off the field.     Shaniya Jackson is an impressive utility player, recognized for her exceptional speed, power, and versatility. She excels at seven different positions on the field, making her a valuable asset to both teams she plays for. During her freshman season, she delivered a standout performance, earning both All-Conference and All-State honors. Jackson achieved a batting average of .611, accumulating 55 hits, 45 runs, and 17 stolen bases in 27 games. These statistics demonstrate her power-hitting ability, knack for getting on base, and speed to steal bases and score runs. She is an exceptional athlete. Jackson also boasts an impressive 2.9 seconds from home to first base. Off the field, she remains dedicated to her academics. Shaniya Jackson's versatility and ability to excel at various positions make her a true standout in her class.     Raegen Hodde is an exceptional catcher in the 2028 class, recognized for her impressive mechanics behind the plate, quick release, and powerful arm, achieving a pop time of 1.65 to 1.67 seconds. She attends Mustang High School, where she maintains a 4.3 GPA, demonstrating the qualities of a great student-athlete. She is also a proud member of the Oklahoma Athletics 2010 National team. Hodde demonstrates vocal leadership from behind the plate. She often displays her strong arm and quick release during throwdowns and pick-offs, making opposing offenses wary of running on her. She consistently improves her powerful swing by dedicating extra time outside of practice each season. Raegen Hodde's excellent leadership skills, relentless work ethic, and determination will continue to shine this summer season.     Timora Hall is a standout athlete from Sussex Central High School and a committed member of the Intensity 16U KOD team. In addition to her athletic pursuits, she also excels academically, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Timora has earned the Academic Excellence Award for English, NJHS membership, and honor roll recognition. Hall led her team to the state tournament, recording 156 strikeouts and earning Second-Team All-Conference honors. She demonstrates excellent control of the strike zone and effectively mixes her pitches. Hall thrives on competition and consistently rises to the challenge. Timora Hall is a name to watch in the 2028 class, driven by her passion for constant improvement.
