Kynzee Anderson has been on the varsity team since seventh grade and went through her struggles in the circle early on, but has steadily improved every year and is coming off a spectacular junior season. In leading her team to a state championship, Anderson was 24-1 with a 1.26 ERA, striking out 245 batters in 145 innings pitched and holding opponents to a .127 average. The Georgia commit capped her season with a five-inning no-hitter in the state title game after striking out 13 batters in a complete-game shutout in the semifinals the day before. Anderson was nearly as impressive at the plate, batting .466 with 14 home runs and 45 RBI in 36 games for a 1.544 OPS. She has a lightning-quick bat that generates power to all fields, and she tunnels her rise ball and changeup well with a wide range of speeds.

Shelbi Stevens was merely very good across her first two high school seasons, but the Kansas commit exploded this spring and broke her own school single-season home run record with 11, hitting all of them by March 15. That led to her third first-team all-district selection, and she complemented her offensive production by playing error-free defense at catcher. Stevens punishes mistakes over the plate but can also launch pitches below the zone out of the ballpark, and even if she is slightly behind, she can still drive the ball over the fence to right-center. She is also adept at blocking balls behind the plate, and has an excellent arm that has deterred many runners from even attempting to steal on her.

Charli Calas has been as consistent as it gets for three years at the plate, with a .487 average, 35 home runs, 117 RBI, 39 walks and just 17 strikeouts in 64 games so far in her high school career. She has a cumulative 1.715 OPS, has improved each year defensively and can even pitch on occasion. A four-sport star, Calas also plays basketball, tennis and track and field, and was her school's female athlete of the year as a junior. She has good pitch recognition skills and the whole field is in play for her, and she can also play small ball by bunting for a hit. Calas will head far away from California to play at Ole Miss, which just made its first-ever Women's College World Series appearance.

Since becoming a full-time starter at the high school level as a sophomore, Trinitey Spencer has emerged as another top prospect from the talent-rich Houston area. She hit .500 in 2024 and nearly replicated that mark this past spring while improving her on-base and slugging percentages to .591 and .986, respectively. Spencer had 17 walks and just three strikeouts this spring, and she is 12-for-14 across her three varsity seasons on stolen base attempts. The Texas Tech commit was named district MVP and has power from the left side with impressive bat speed and exit velocity numbers. Although she is listed as a middle infielder, Spencer can also flash the leather at third base, fielding bunts, slap hits and hot shots alike.

Part of a stacked Orange Beach team that won its fifth consecutive state championship this spring, Katie King has been a regular at the varsity level since she was in seventh grade. Her power, usually the last tool to develop, is starting to come along now, which makes her a complete offensive player. The Arkansas commit batted .586 as a junior with 22 doubles, eight triples, eight homers and 77 runs scored in 48 games to go along with 19 walks and just three strikeouts. King also stole 27 bases and made just two errors as an infielder while contributing to nine double plays. She looks just as remarkable on film as she does in box scores.

Addison Otto just had her worst high school softball season offensively as a junior, but her numbers would still be career-bests for the vast majority of players. In 91 games over three years, Otto has a .477/.592/1.012 triple slash with 28 doubles, 24 home runs, 15 triples and 128 runs scored with more than twice as many walks as strikeouts. She stole 36 bases this spring for the second season in a row and improved significantly on defense, making just three errors. As if that wasn't enough, she pitched to an ERA of 0.87 in 48 1/3 innings with 71 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .152 average. She also won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2023 U-15 WBSC World Cup. Otto remains uncommitted and will surely have many college coaches communicating with her throughout the summer.

After an excellent freshman year, Kamryn Waters burst onto the scene as a sophomore with a 1.367 OPS, 12 doubles, 10 homers and 39 RBI in 30 games. She did not quite replicate those numbers in her junior season but was still extremely productive, cutting down on her strikeouts and improving her fielding. The UCF commit hit a walk-off home run to win the district championship during her sophomore campaign and has big-time gap-to-gap power. Waters plays superb defense in the outfield, making routine and spectacular plays alike with a strong, accurate arm that can cut down runners trying to take an extra base.

The fourth Texan to make this list, Marigny Thomas is committed to Houston and just completed her second straight season with at least a .400 batting average, hitting 12 doubles as well while making just one error in the outfield. She may not have much home run power yet, but she sprays line drives all over the field and has the speed and instincts to take the extra base. Thomas has a quiet right-handed stance and does not try to do too much at the plate, and she has a quick first step in the field that allows her to take efficient routes to fly balls and sinking line drives.

Chloe Younggren followed up an incredible sophomore season with an even better junior year, hitting .586 with a 2.038 OPS as well as 23 home runs, 67 runs scored and 59 RBI in 40 games. She also has back-to-back years with double-digit steals and is just as capable of hitting a sharp ground ball the other way or beating out a bunt single as she is turning on an inside pitch and pulling it over the wall. Younggren is comfortable at all three outfield spots and will be an attractive prospect at academically-focused schools with a 4.0 GPA. She has attended camps at Tennessee, Indiana, Western Kentucky, Chattanooga, North Alabama and Ball State.
