Gianna DeLorenzo is a powerful hitter with a menacing approach at the plate that should put fear in any opposing pitcher. The corner infielder is holding down the middle of Nonnewaug's order in her freshman season and helped the squad to an undefeated start. In her first seven games this year, she smacked five home runs and drove in 19 runs. Gianna has a simple approach, and her bat-to-ball skills are on a veteran level. She generates so much power with her lower half that it looks as if she's really not swinging that hard. Couple that with a vacuum-style glove at both third and first base, and Gianna is quickly cementing herself as a can't-miss prospect in Connecticut and, in a few short years, likely the rest of the country.

Harper Delaney has already seen tremendous levels of success throughout the country with tournaments everywhere from Texas to California to Florida. She's already impressed in front of college coaches at the Division I level and is likely to start receiving some serious interest after her freshman season at Trumbull High School. Harper has one of the faster bats in the class of 2028, and possesses an inside-out swing that allows her to seamlessly drive the ball to all parts of the field. Even if she decides to go to the next level as a pitcher-only, she's developed a repertoire that will likely keep her in the starting rotation. While her fastball can still use some fine-tuning to really make it a dynamic pitch, her offspeed arsenal, namely her drop ball and screwball, give her a lethal combination in the circle.

It's a really good sign when, as a freshman in high school, you're getting onto Player of the Week and Month lists for your state. That's exactly the type of success that Alexis Walters has enjoyed in her short, but impactful stint thus far with Berlin's high school team. Through her first six games with the varsity team, Alexis is batting .400 with six RBI and a triple, all while not even striking out. While it's a small sample size, and she's still looking to fully crack the starting lineup at the varsity level, Alexis has continued to demonstrate a high level of poise at the plate. She is also working diligently to become a stronger catcher while continuing her work at third base. Keep an eye on Alexis, especially if that batting average and strikeout rate stays where it is.

Kendall Mietz is already getting looks from college coaches, and with her abilities, it's only a matter of time until the avalanche of interest comes pouring in. The outfielder with an incredible work ethic, award-winning classroom skills and lightning speed offers everything one could want in a recruit. As recently as February, her max exit velocity on her impactful swing reached 73 mph. With a high leg kick and extremely explosive swing, Kendall possesses the ability to collect extra-base hits day after day. She also lettered in track this past season and has developed her speed, allowing her to seamlessly move between all three outfield positions without a hiccup. Kendall's unmatched athleticism is going to take her far, and coaches from all over the country will come to learn her name.

Aniajah Sanchez is yet another extremely versatile athlete from Connecticut who has traveled across the country already for tournaments and showcases against some of the best talent in her age group. She will play nearly everywhere on the field, and is agile enough to do so with ease, even moving from the outfield to catcher to the pitching rubber in the same game. She's a two-sport athlete who is also an immensely talented volleyball player for Kingswood Oxford. Aniajah has an incredibly strong swing with home run potential during nearly every at-bat, but her swing is so fluid that she can adjust on the fly and hit the ball anywhere she needs to.
