Adriana Jeannenot was named to the all-state first team in 2024 by the Providence Journal after a spectacular freshman high school season. She struck out 245 batters and walked just 34 in 139 innings pitched with a 2.01 ERA while holding opponents to a .179 average. Jeannenot threw a no-hitter with 16 strikeouts on April 30, and a complete-game shutout with 15 strikeouts two days later. She later struck out 26 batters in a 10 2/3-inning appearance on May 7. And lest you think she wasn't a complete player, Jeannenot was no slouch at the plate either, with an .854 OPS and 20 RBI in 23 games. Her fastball tops out at 63.6 miles per hour and she is able to command all four quadrants of the strike zone. Jeannenot has attended camps at UMass, UConn, Rhode Island and Stonehill.

Madison Tuirok was one of the best pure hitters in the state as a high school freshman, batting .507 with three doubles, three triples and 27 runs scored in 20 games. She also stole 13 bases and hit safely in every game but one, including a stretch of three straight three-hit games. Tuirok was a second-team all-state selection by the Providence Journal. Primarily a shortstop and third baseman, Tuirok can also fill in behind the plate. She has excellent speed and baserunning instincts, is smooth mechanically as an infielder and can spray line drives to all parts of the field.

Lucy Kaiser is as dedicated as they come, working out at 5 a.m. most days before school. It has paid off—she pitched to a 1.45 ERA as a freshman and struck out 151 batters with just 35 walks in 111 innings. Opponents hit .203 against her, and she fielded her position well, making just three errors with a .949 fielding percentage. Kaiser had three complete-game shutouts over the last two weeks of the season and can make batters look silly with her fastball, curveball, screwball and changeup. A middle infielder when she's not pitching, Kaiser has home run power and a quick, explosive swing. She has attended camps at Binghamton, UMass, Providence and Boston University, among others.

Isabella Sousa was a two-way standout in her debut high school season. She was 9-0 with a 0.66 ERA and struck out 154 batters in just 74 innings—more than two per inning—with just 11 walks. Sousa held opponents to a .131 batting average, leading her team to an undefeated season and Cranston East's first-ever state title. At the plate, Sousa batted .425 with a 1.025 slugging percentage, hitting four doubles, four triples and four home runs in just 15 games while walking more than she struck out. In the championship game, Sousa struck out 16 and allowed only one run while helping her own cause with a grand slam. She was named to the Division 3 all-state first team by the Rhode Island High School Coaches Association.

Both Lincoln and North Providence were short on softball players last spring, so the two nearby schools joined forces at the last minute, and Mariana Xavier was a key piece in the combined team's 10-6 season. She hit .491, driving in 22 runs and scoring 19 in 16 games, with four doubles and four home runs. Xavier struck out a grand total of once and had a 1.372 OPS as well as nine stolen bases. The shortstop hit safely in 11 straight games between April 23 and May 22, including a 4-for-4 performance against Mt. Hope. Her stellar season earned her second-team all-state honors in Division 2 from the coaches association.
