Below, Prep Softball highlights five of the top softball players from Hawaii in the high school graduating class of 2027.    Molly Davi is a dynamic right-handed pitcher at Maryknoll High School. She displays strong mechanics in the circle, with a consistent delivery and effective use of the strike zone. Her ability to mix up pitch types (fastballs, changeups, curves, etc.) keeps batters off balance and forces weak contact. She has a strong command of the zone, making it difficult for opposing hitters to predict what's coming next. In her career, Davi has dominated, throwing a perfect game, several no-hitters, and multiple shutouts. But what truly sets her apart is her mentality. Iokia has consistently proven to be an exceptional player, excelling in both offensive and defensive aspects of the game. Iokia's all-around talent makes her an invaluable asset to any team. She has an unyielding work ethic and a strong mental approach. Offensively, she has shown consistency at the plate. She can make solid contact with the ball, hitting to all parts of the field. She has a keen eye for pitches and home run power. Iokia can adjust her swing based on the pitcher. She is a heavy hitter for her highly-ranked travel team LK Black Hawaii 16U. Defensively, Iokia shines in the infield. She makes plays look easy with her smooth transfer and quick hands. The team can always count on Iokia to lead the charge and set the tone. She handles pressure with calm confidence. She would be a great addition to any college program.     Maya Jelf is a true utility player at Mililani High School. You can find her in the middle infield, the circle, and the outfield. In the circle, Maya has multiple pitches in her arsenal, including a rise, curve, backdoor, changeup, and fastball. She showcases a well-rounded skill set and can handle pressure situations in the circle. Her leadership on the field is undeniable. When Maya is in the circle, the entire team draws confidence from her presence. She inspires others with her work ethic, ability to stay cool under pressure, and relentless drive to succeed. Offensively, Maya hits for both power and average. She can be seen bringing in runners with line drives and home runs. She's a menace on the base paths, using her speed to take extra bases. She would be a strong asset to any college softball program looking for a versatile player.     When it comes to stepping up to the plate, Skylynne Gonzalez is nothing short of a powerhouse. With an impressive exit velocity of 76 mph, she crushes the ball often. Precision, power, and poise blend effortlessly for Gonzalez, making her hits seem almost effortless. It's not just about the home runs or the deep line drives—although those are impressive enough—but what sets Gonzalez apart is her consistency. She consistently finds the sweet spot of the bat. She delivers clutch hits with two outs. She always manages to come through when the team needs her most. At third base, she has a golden glove and a cannon arm. She has an overhand velocity of 68 mph and can throw across the diamond with ease. Gonzalez undoubtedly has a bright future ahead of her.     Peahi Grilho-Armitage is an elite right-handed pitcher at Kamehameha High School. When Grilho-Armitage steps into the circle, you can feel the entire game shift. With every pitch, Grilho-Armitage commands the circle confidently. Grilho-Armitage turns each at-bat into a battle with an arsenal of pitches that isn't just diverse, but it's also a collection of perfectly executed tools. These pitches include a famous changeup, fastball, curveball, screwball, and rise. Each one is delivered with precision and speed.
