Whenever a Top 100 ranking is assembled, it is always tough to leave unquestionably deserving players off the list. With an abundance of softball talent in the high school graduating class of 2026, it was especially hard to put together the ranking for this stellar class. Poschke led East Hamilton in batting average during the 2024 season after making a huge impact on a team that finished fourth at the Class 3A state tournament. She is certainly a player who can compete at the next level, and should remain on college coaches' radars as they try to complete their 2026 recruiting classes.     Jordyn Wilkerson is certainly under the radar in her class. Hailing from Virginia, she received First-Team All-District honors as a sophomore in 2024 with a .352 batting average, a .521 OBP and a .778 SLG. Wilkerson is also a high-academic student with an impressive 4.275 GPA. She is a dual-sport athlete to boot, who also competes in volleyball.     Cori Figgs is another star in the making. The right-handed pitcher and power hitter from Texas has a ton going for her on and off the field. On the field, she stars both in the circle and at the plate for her squads, while off the field, she is a high-academic student with a 3.91 GPA and a bright future ahead of her. The Houston-area player also made the 2024 PGF Sophomores All-American watchlist.     Known for being a top-tier teammate, Linzie Davis is another player college softball coaches need not forget in the recruiting process for 2026 talent. The Georgia native and right-handed power hitter works gap to gap at the plate and locks it down at both corner infield positions. She is used to competing at a high level and has a ton of upside potential.     Jameson Snell, a left-handed hitter who can pitch, play in the middle infield and serve as a utility player at most other positions on the field, is a native of Virginia who should not be overlooked. She has a strong presence for Riverbend's varsity squad and her Virginia Unity Blackwell 18U team, and also possesses a 4.5 GPA in the classroom. She's competed at a high level and attended multiple Division 1 camps.     A right-handed power hitter who is a true infield utility player, Carissa Anaya is another player college coaches don't want to miss. The Texas native maintains a 3.6 GPA in the classroom and plays middle infield for her high school squad, while also holding down third base for her club team. She is a bit undersized, but definitely has some pop in her bat, along with the ability to spray the ball all over the field.     Bella Barziza is a corner infielder and power hitter who has some serious pop in her bat and the ability to change a game with one swing. The Texas native has power to all fields and consistently sends the ball a long way, which should give college coaches an idea of how impactful she can be at the plate at the next level.     A varsity softball and basketball player, Kayleigh Perks is a native of Virginia and someone college coaches should not let get away. She is a team player who is willing to play any position on the field to help out where necessary. Her twin sister, Ryleigh, is committed to Virginia Tech, so softball ability clearly runs in her blood.     Ryland Pesak is a right-handed power hitter from Texas who also has the speed to steal bases. She can play all over the field and has attended multiple high-level college camps. An incredible element within her impressive resume is that she is an extremely high-academic student with a 4.8 GPA.     Abby Thacker is a utility player from Georgia who primarily plays third and second base. In the classroom, she stands out like she does on the field with her 3.9 GPA. Thacker likes to go gap to gap at the plate and has power to all fields. She hit .424 for her club team last year and earned the Offensive Player of the Year award for her GA Power 16U Gold - Thacker squad for the 2023-2024 travel season.
