Top Uncommitted 2026 Prospects From Michigan

She can demonstrate a high level of swing consistency and drive the ball to the same part of the field time after time, which shows athletic maturity that rivals anyone in her class. Behind the plate, she has a really quick first step when throwing runners out. Once she fine-tunes her glove-to-hand skills and speeds up that transition a bit, she'll be able to truly take over as a top talent behind the dish. She has an incredibly powerful load and, combined with innate patience, completely explodes on the ball before it gets too deep on her. She needs to make sure that her quick-twitch swing doesn't hinder her ability to drive the ball to the opposite field, but with more fine-tuning, we believe that will come. It's the true mark of a talented two-way player when her swing is impressive, and she also flaunts a deep, six-pitch repertoire that is highlighted by a drop curve that tops out above 57 mph. She's already on a great path to becoming a tremendous softball player, however, and if she sticks with it, will undoubtedly slide into a college lineup without issue. Breanna has a simple lock and load swing, and her scouting videos are chock-full of line drive after line drive. She just recently received Rise Softball top performer honors in multiple categories, including for best home-to-home speed, infield velocity and outfield velocity. She has a long swing, but not in a bad way. As long as she gets loaded in time, her motion toward the ball allows her to send it far. Even with a long swing, she successfully keeps the barrel in the zone for a long time, and has tremendous power to center field. In the field, Brooklyn not only has the range to play shortstop, but she also has the arm talent to play third base should she need to slot in there. Kennedy has one of the most powerful swings in the state of Michigan, if not in the entire class of 2026. Her recruiting videos look like a home run derby, and Kennedy's simple swing allows her to hardly miss pitches. All of that played a large part in her batting .514 last year with 38 RBI, 15 doubles and a staggering seven triples during the high school season. Couple that with a 66 mph overhand velocity and a glove for anywhere on the field, and Kennedy has set herself up for college coaches to be impressed by her game. She also takes tremendous care of her recovery process, going as far as completing neuroplasticity workouts.
