Top Uncommitted 2026 Prospects From Nevada

Nevada is home to some of the best youth softball players in the country. From the larger-than-life atmosphere of Las Vegas and all the way up to Lake Tahoe, the softball players there are capable of amazing things on and off the field.   Below are five of the top uncommitted softball prospects from the 2026 class in Nevada.    Gabby Colarco is a 2026 outfielder who has displayed hard work and perseverance throughout her playing career. Whether on the field, at the plate, or by supporting her teammates from the bench, she gives 100% to be a strong, positive team player. She loves leading her team with energy and chatter from the outfield and contributing offensively with a batting average of .436. While her primary position is outfield, you can catch her at second base and pitching for her high school team. Her proudest achievements include making the Coronado High School Varsity team as a freshman and becoming a key player for Pinecrest Academy Cadence's team when it was formed. Last season, Gabby was named team MVP and selected to the 4A All-Desert League second team. Off the field, she is committed to her academic and personal growth. With a 4.2 GPA, she's a member of the National Honor Society.     Vanessa Bein is a hardworking student with a 4.3 GPA and a National Honor Society member at McQueen High School. On the field, she strives to be the best each day, and pushes herself and her teammates to succeed. Vanessa is an elite power hitter, catcher, and third baseman, while also having some experience at shortstop and in the outfield. She is a positive, motivating, and reliable leader, and prides herself on demonstrating the "we over me" mentality. Vanessa is a force at the plate, boasting a .376 batting average with 32 hits, 29 RBIs, and 12 extra-base hits in her previous high school season. Because of her incredible offensive performance, Vanessa was named the 2024 Northern 5A Softball Offensive Player of the Year.     Kaylee Sanchez is a native Nevadan and a proud enrolled member of the Walker River Paiute Tribe of Nevada. A junior at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School, she is a great student with a 3.88 GPA. Outside of softball, she is a member of the BMCHS baking club, social club, outdoors club, wellness club, film club, and college readiness club. On the field, she's a triple threat as a right-hand pitcher, first baseman, and power hitter, but her best attribute is her mental game. Kaylee thrives in high-pressure situations. In the circle, she has elite-level spin and movement on her pitches. Her strongest pitches are her rise, changeup, and curve. Over the years, she has grown into a leader on her team and is one of those players who comes early, stays late, and doesn't mind doing the extra work. Aside from being a student-athlete, she loves Jesus. Kaylee has a servant's heart and enjoys partaking in humanitarian work within her community, including volunteering with her local youth softball league and serving at the Living Faith Christian pantry.     Hayley Noble is a defensive specialist with the ability to play both corners of the infield and pitch. At third base, Noble shines with her quick glove and strong arm. In the previous high school season, her fielding percentage was .927 with 4 double plays and 99 putouts. Hayley had to step up for her team in the circle this past season, posting a low ERA of 3.32 and a win percentage of .600. Hayley hit for both power and average in high school ball last season with 32 hits, 23 singles, 4 doubles, 3 home runs, and 18 RBI, to go along with a batting average of .337. Because of her amazing skills on the field, she was granted the Nevada Sports Net's All-North postseason softball honors and was named a 2024 Northern 5A All-League honorable mention selection.     LaSade Conti is a righthanded pitcher at Dayton High School, where she has dominated in the circle in recent seasons. Last spring, LaSade pitched 73.2 innings and had 142 total strikeouts. She ranked in the top 10 in four different stats in Nevada including batting average (.642), on-base percentage (.740), and slugging percentage (1.207). She was the first athlete to win the Champion Chevrolet RGJ Athlete of the Week honor in Northern Nevada from her high school. She is a tough and determined leader when her team needs her to rise to the occasion. She is one of those players who works to get better no matter what it takes, and doesn't rely on her natural talent alone.
