Earlier this year for the Warsaw Wildcats, she hit for a .554 batting average, drove in 36 runs, had an on-base percentage of .585, and half of her hits went for extra bases, leading to an OPS of 1.597. She also hit seven triples, along with collecting 17 stolen bases. She was named a First-Team All-State, All-District, and All-Region selection, playing an integral role on a Wildcats team that went 23-3. She has remained busy playing travel ball for the BC Peppers, who recently ended their fall season during which she batted .476 with 20 hits and a perfect stolen-base percentage. Hailing from western Missouri, the junior hit safely in 22 of her 23 games for the Montrose Blue Jays this fall, with 13 of those being multi-hit games. Her 40 runs scored were good for fourth in the state, as well as her 23 stolen bases (the same number she had her sophomore season). She can also get on base via the walk, drawing 19 this season alone. Additionally, she also contributes in the circle, accumulating 53 strikeouts so far in her career. She is part of a high-powered Montrose offense that scored double-digit runs 10 times this season. The speedster racked up 18 steals this fall and set a Seckman High School softball program record with seven triples. Additionally, when she gets on base, she tends to score. She finished fifth in the state in runs scored with 37. Don't count on striking her out either—in over 150 at-bats, she has only struck out 15 times. And the most impressive statistic of her career so far? She hit a grand slam in her first varsity at-bat. She was recently named a First-Team All-District selection, as well as receiving First-Team All-Conference honors. Last fall, she played a big role in helping the Winfield Warriors make it to the final four of the state softball tournament. This fall was much of the same, as the Warriors came up one game short of making the final four. Knowles already has well over 200 career strikeouts and is a master at keeping the ball in the ballpark. She finished this season with First-Team All-Conference, All-Region, and All-District honors. Vernon has plenty of big boppers on its roster, and Hali Stokes is one of them. With nearly 40 extra-base hits in just two seasons, the All-American never fails to deliver at the plate. She has 85 career RBIs, and as a freshman, she helped lead the Mountaineers to a state title and a 38-1 record. She's calm in the batter's box, has power to the opposite field, and can quickly turn a double play. Following this season, she was named a First-Team All-Region and All-District selection.
