Tennessee is crawling with youth softball talent at various levels and ages, but these 2028 prospects are the ones to keep your eyes on over the next few years that they are still in high school.   Each talented player below has an incredible work ethic and love for the game of softball, and several are the best players on their high school and club teams with dreams of playing on the biggest stage in the sport.   See below for the top 2028 college softball prospects to watch in Tennessee.    Emily is a tenacious competitor in the circle and at shortstop. She utilizes her speed and athleticism to cover ground on the field and make incredible defensive plays. In the circle, her speed stays consistently at 59-60 mph, and she can throw four pitches, including a fastball, drop, curve, and screw. She has a short, compact swing and can hit the ball out of the park. As an 8th grader, Emily played on the high school team at CAK and was outstanding. She batted .566 with 11 triples, 7 home runs, and 13 stolen bases.     Khloe, also known as "KB", is one of the most dominant pitchers in her age group, regularly competing against the best hitters. Her flaming fastball stays in the mid-to-upper 60s, allowing her to speed up hitters, and her changeup is 10-12 mph slower, allowing her to keep batters off balance. Khloe utilizes her screwball to jam right-handed batters and make lefties swing and miss. Left in her arsenal is her drop and rise ball, which she uses to mix planes. At the plate, KB is incredibly strong and capable of hitting the long ball. In her 7th and 8th grade years combined, she hit 14 home runs with 55 RBI. KB has earned a reputation as a power hitter, adding significant strength to her team's offense.     Ella is a warrior in the circle, with a tremendous heart for the game and her teammates. She has a strong presence on the mound, commands her pitches, and challenges hitters in all four zone quadrants. Her repertoire includes a fastball ranging from 62-64 mph, a curve, screw, rise, and devastating changeup. Ella pitched for Maryville Junior High School last season and was phenomenal, with a record of 21-1-1. She is a standout power hitter, knocking several off the wall in her 8th-grade season at Maryville Junior High School.     Jazzy sets the tone at the plate and challenges every pitcher she faces. She goes deep into counts until she gets a pitch she knows she can drive, fouling off close pitches in between. Jazzy's pitch selection is outstanding as well as her ability to adjust. She uses her power to hit balls over the fence and utilizes her high softball IQ for situational hitting. Her approach is quiet but deadly, and she brings an intimidation factor when she steps up to the plate. Defensively, she constantly works on her hand-eye coordination and her footwork is elite. Balls rarely make it past her first-class glove, and her overhand velocity is well above those in her age group.     A well-rounded athlete, Jaeda Tucker shines in the circle, the outfield, and at the plate. In her summer travel ball season, she stunned with a 0.24 ERA, 14 strikeouts, and only 14 hits allowed. This southpaw attacks hitters with her devastating curve and rise ball, and a key weapon in her arsenal includes her fastball coming in at 66 mph. When she's not shutting down opposing hitters, Jaeda also shines in center field. Her speed allows her to cover the outfield with ease, and she isn't afraid to dive to make a play.
