Rising Talents: Washington Ladyhawks' Top 5 Uncommitted Players

In the competitive club softball world, the Washington Ladyhawks organization has built a long-lasting legacy of greatness nationwide. Over the past few decades, the Ladyhawks have established a powerhouse club that has sent countless softball players to all collegiate levels and divisions.   The Ladyhawks are an organization focused on building young women's personal aspirations and athletic accomplishments. They give them opportunities to present their skills to college coaches at all collegiate levels. By doing so, the Ladyhawks organization and coaches strive to find collegiate programs that align academically and athletically for their athletes.   Below, see five uncommitted players in the organization who exemplify the Ladyhawks' values and have some serious softball skills.    Kenzie Stolmeier is a 2025 right-handed catcher and second baseman from Puyallup, Washington, who attends Emerald Ridge High School. Throughout her time at Emerald Ridge, she has been outstanding on the varsity softball team and in the classroom. Kenzie, a 3.8 GPA student, takes AP classes and has been part of the Honor Roll for the last three years. She has been a strong presence behind the plate for her high school team and the 18U Simpson team. Kenzie received a 4A South Puget Sound League honorable mention selection and was second-team all-league as a catcher. Offensively, Kenzie's consistency as a contact hitter and line-drive hitter make her a difficult batter to face. She will also take charge behind the plate and receive pitches well. Additionally, she is a player who has a high softball IQ and knows the game exceptionally well. Her power and solid field presence will help her excel in the next step of her playing career.     Now in her junior year at Bothell High School, Kolbi Schmer is a 2026 catcher and first baseman from Bothell, Washington. She is also part of the Washington Ladyhawks 18U Seeley team. Kolbi hits from the left side and throws from the right. After the 2023 high school season, Kolbi received a Kingco 4A Honorable Mention selection after being a solid player offensively and defensively for Bothell. While playing for the Ladyhawks, Kolbi has been a fierce competitor with a ton of power at the plate, behind the plate, and at first base. Her confidence throughout her play positively impacts her teammates and will catch the eyes of college coaches nationwide. As much as she is a great athlete, she is also a solid student with a 3.4 GPA. While Kolbi hopes to play at the next level by attending a four-year university, she also hopes to study health sciences.     Emerson Gunther is a 2027 right-handed shortstop and outfielder from Laurel, Montana. She attends Laurel High School and has been a standout, multi-sport athlete during her time there, earning softball, volleyball, and basketball varsity letters. She is a two-year starter for the varsity softball team. In her first season as an eighth grader, she received a second-team all-conference honor, and as a freshman, she received first-team all-conference and first-team all-state honors. She has also succeeded in the classroom at Laurel High School, possessing a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the Washington Ladyhawks 16U Wicker team, for whom she is a strong defensive presence and a huge contributor offensively. Whether playing shortstop or in the outfield, Emerson has a strong arm, moves well in her positions, and has a great glove. At the plate, Emerson is a power hitter with good speed around the bases. Her versatility will transition well to the next level. She is a player who shows true dedication and passion for the game, her academics, and the Ladyhawks' organization. She is from out of state, but chooses to be a part of this organization and travels to the team.     Haylie Oyler is a 2027 third baseman and catcher from Everett, WA. She is a part of the Everett High School varsity softball team and the Washington Ladyhawks 16U Wicker team. At Everett High School, Haylie is an outstanding student-athlete, who boasts a solid 4.0 GPA. Her athleticism extends off the diamond, as she is also a successful volleyball and basketball player. Her academic achievements and athleticism from being a multi-sport athlete highlight her ability to transition to the next level. She did exceptionally well in her freshman season at Everett High School and received Wesco 3A/2A first-team all-league honors. She brings strength and power to both sides of the game. Haylie is a solid fielder who moves well and brings power to the plate. She also brings excellent leadership skills on the field and focuses on being the best teammate she can be. Haylie hopes to attend a four-year college and continue to grow in the sport she loves at the highest level.     Addison Anderson is a 2027 right-handed pitcher and outfielder from Stanwood, Washington. She attends Stanwood High School and is a member of the Washington Ladyhawks 16U Fairbairn team. Addison is a true powerhouse in the circle, throwing 63-64 mph while using all quadrants of the strike zone. She moves the ball well, throwing a rise, drop, and changeup. During her freshman season at Stanwood High School, she received Wesco 3A/2A second-team all-league honors. Addison is a hard-worker daily in athletics and the classroom. Therefore, Addison puts in extra work in all aspects of her game whenever possible, showing her determination to succeed at the highest level. Not only is Addison an elite pitcher, but she also brings excellent power to the plate. Academically, she is a great student at Stanwood with a 3.7 GPA.
